Management Team

S.G.D. Engineering is a family owned private company established in 1980 by Mr. Dov Cohen. During the 35 years since its foundation the company to employ only the very best and all of S.G.D. Engineering's divisions led by elite directors with years of experience in a variety of Israeli defense industries.

Mr, Dov Cohen
Founder & Chairman
Founder of SGD Engineering Ltd. was acting as the company's President and CEO for 35 years and currently acting as the company Executive Chairman. Mr. Cohen Graduated from the Technion in Haifa as a Mechanical Engineer.
A Ret. Lt. Col. from the Israeli Air Force Logistics & Engineering Division, Last position- Head of Armament System Branch.

Mr, Jacob Baron
President
Mr. Baron joined S.G.D. Engineering in 1998 and acting as the Company's President & CEO since 2016,  after almost a decade of working as the company's head of Programs division and Executive Vice President. Mr. Baron Holds a B.Sc in Aeronautical Engineering from the Israeli Technion and M.Sc in Information systems from Tel-Aviv University.
A Ret. Lt. Col. from the Israeli Air Force, last position - Head of Structures Branch, HQ, Engineering and Logistics Command. Before joining SGD worked as a Program Manager at IAI's Bedek Division.

Mrs,  Sharon Cohen-Friedberg
Vice President Finance and Administration
Mrs. Cohen-Friedberg holds a diploma in CPA licensed and acting as the company's Vice President Finance and Administration and SGD’s Financial Director since 2000.
